YMCA Alumni Reunion at Sea

February 19-26, 2017  |  3 Exotic Islands  |  7 Days and Nights You’ll Never Forget

Welcome Aboard…

for the AYR-YMCAlumni Reunion Cruise 2017! What a wonderful experience this is going to be… an incredible ship with lots of “old” friends (and making new ones), and even a number of current Y staff enjoying the fellowship and benefits of AYR.

Our planning goal was that all cruise decisions must be made with the primary purpose of making it easier and less confusing for you to register, travel, and enjoy the event. At the conclusion of the cruise we hope that you will agree that we have met or even surpassed our goal.

We called this the AYR-YMCAlumni Reunion Cruise because we wanted to project an image of having graduated to a new and exciting stage in one’s life, not retiring from the Y connection, and continuing to support the Mission. So have a great time … see you on the ship!

Travel Essentials

Indispensable Information to Ensure a Smooth Cruise.

Before You Go

Airfare quotes will be available beginning approximately April 10, 2016. At this time, we do not have arrangement in place for pre or post hotel packages.

Plans are as follows: For those driving, a choice of hotels in the Port Canaveral area that provides free parking for the duration of the cruise and transportation to and from the pier will be offered. For those flying into Orlando, a pre hotel stay at an airport area hotel, along with transfers to the ship on February 19 will be offered.

We will have a link to hotels on this website when arrangements are all set up. Transfers to the airport on February 26 from Port Canaveral will be arranged through the cruise line.

Go Travel is able to arrange attraction packages. Why not come in early or stay a little later and visit Walt Disney World®, Universal or any of the other attractions here in Central Florida?

Go Travel strongly recommends the purchase of travel insurance. We understand things can happen that are unavoidable, but penalties will be imposed by Royal Caribbean, hotels and airlines over which we have no control. Our travel insurance is not based on age, but is a flat rate. Our insurance covers all travel associated expenses such as hotel and airfare. Standard insurance will pay your claim if you have to cancel for a covered reason. Prices begin at $59 pp. Detailed policy descriptions and pricing will be sent by request.

It’s the guest’s responsibility to obtain all valid travel documents for their vacation. Documents such as passports, visas, inoculation certificates and family legal documents are required for boarding and re-entry into the United States and other countries. Guests should check with their travel agent and/or government authority to determine the travel documents needed for each destination, including the port of embarkation. You will be denied boarding if you do not have proper documentation.

DOCUMENTATION & IMMIGRATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Guests are highly encouraged to travel with a valid passport, even when not required.
  • For your protection, we recommend that your passport expiration date does not occur within six (6) months of the sailing return date.
  • The spelling of the guest(s) name as booked for a cruise must match exactly as their valid passport or proof of citizenship/identification during ship check-in formalities.
  • For non-US or Canadian citizens or residents, certain countries may have specific travel requirements for your itinerary. Please visit VisaHQ for details.
  • All guests require specific travel documents that may include either a passport or other documentation, such as a government-issued birth certificate and laminated government issued picture ID denoting photo, name and date of birth, when traveling on U.S. Closed Loop voyages. These are voyages that commence and end in the same U.S. port without leaving the western hemisphere. Please note that Baptismal papers, hospital certificates of birth, voter registration cards or Social Security cards are not considered proof of citizenship.
  • This booking is governed by the terms and conditions of the Cruise/Cruise tour Ticket Contract. A copy of the most current version of that contract can be viewed at the Royal Caribbean website.
